Delivery & Refund Policy

Effective Date: December 27, 2025

This Delivery & Refund Policy outlines how deliveries are handled and how refunds, credits, or replacements are managed for orders placed with The Earthy Meals.

Delivery Policy

Delivery Schedule

  • Deliveries are made once per week on Wednesdays.

  • Orders placed before Monday at 2:00 PM are delivered the same week.

  • Orders placed after Monday at 2:00 PM will be delivered the following Wednesday.

Delivery Areas

We deliver to select areas in and around Calgary, Alberta. Delivery availability is shown at checkout and may change over time.

Delivery Responsibility

  • Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, clear delivery instructions, and a valid contact number.

  • Someone must be available to receive the order, or a safe drop-off location must be specified.

  • Once an order has been delivered to the provided address or safe drop-off location, responsibility transfers to the customer.

The Earthy Meals is not responsible for:

  • spoilage due to unattended deliveries

  • theft after delivery

  • incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • delivery issues caused by lack of access or unsafe conditions

Missed or Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, no response, or unsafe access, the order may be returned or disposed of for food safety reasons. Refunds are not guaranteed in these cases.

Refund & Issue Policy

Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are generally final, except as outlined below.

Reporting an Issue

If there is an issue with your order (missing item, incorrect item, damaged packaging, or quality concern), you must notify us within 4 hours of delivery by emailing:

Please include:

  • your full name and order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photos (required for damaged or quality-related claims)

Claims submitted after the 4-hour window may not be eligible for review.

Resolution Options

If an issue is confirmed, The Earthy Meals may offer, at our discretion:

  • a replacement item

  • store credit

  • partial refund

  • full refund (in limited cases)

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or credits will not be issued for:

  • change of mind

  • uneaten food

  • personal taste preferences

  • issues caused by improper storage or handling after delivery

  • missed delivery due to incorrect address or unavailable recipient

  • issues reported outside the stated reporting window

Cancellations & Changes

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or modified after Monday at 2:00 PM.

  • Subscription cancellations or pauses must be requested before the weekly cut-off to apply to that delivery week.

Force Majeure

In rare cases of events beyond our control (weather, road conditions, supply disruptions, illness, or emergencies), delivery may be delayed or cancelled. In such cases, we may offer rescheduling, credit, or refund at our discretion.
